The environment of the waterproof connector has a significant impact on its performance in the process of use, storage and transportation, so it is better to choose the corresponding metal shell according to the actual environmental conditions.

4. end connection mode

Termination means the connection of metal contact between the male and female connectors of the waterproof connector and the wire and cable. Metals, like plastic shells, are divided into welding, crimping, winding, piercing, and screws. A comprehensive analysis shows that the performance of metal and nylon PA66 plastic housing varies little except for the need of shielding function. The cost of plastic to metal shell is lower and the structure is more reasonable.
